01Who we are
TareaBox (“TareaBox”, “we”, “us”) is a social-media content-planning and AI-automation service operated by Natalie Abadie (sole trader), established in Malta (EU), 10 Censu Xerri, Sliema, Malta. Contact: hello@tareabox.com.
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms (which include our acceptable-use rules, §5, and our refund rules, §10) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 16, you may not use the service. You confirm your age at sign-up.
03The service
TareaBox lets you plan, organise and schedule social-media content on a visual calendar, build a brand profile, and use AI-powered automations to help generate content (text, and — where available — images and other media). The service is currently offered as a closed beta and is provided on an evolving basis: features may change, be added or removed.
TareaBox works as a planning calendar on its own. Notifications and automatic publishing to social networks are optional modes that depend on third-party services and may be unavailable.
04Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration data, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@tareabox.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may hold roles in one or more brands; access within a brand is governed by the role assigned to you (Admin / Manager / Editor).
05Acceptable use
You agree not to use TareaBox to:
- upload, generate or publish illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, image or voice rights);
- impersonate any person or create a non-consented deepfake (a synthetic image, audio or video of a real person without that person’s consent);
- create synthetic voice or likeness of a minor;
- use the service for electoral campaigns or to influence voting, unlawful surveillance, harassment, spam, or malware;
- reverse-engineer, resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly allowed;
- attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or brand isolation.
We may suspend or remove content and accounts that breach this section. Serious or repeated breaches may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Reporting illegal content: if you believe content on TareaBox is illegal, tell us at hello@tareabox.com — include where it is, why you believe it is illegal, and your contact details. We review reports and act where appropriate, including removing content and, where required, notifying authorities (EU Digital Services Act, Art. 16).
06Your content and the rights you give us
- You keep ownership of the content, brand information, products and media you upload or create (“Your Content”).
- You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you — including sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers listed in our Privacy Policy so the automations can run.
- You are solely responsible for Your Content and you warrant that you have all rights and consents needed to upload and use it (including the consent of any person appearing in images, video or audio). You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content or your use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.
07AI-generated output
- AI features can produce inaccurate, incomplete or unexpected results. Output is provided “as is”, without warranty, and you are responsible for reviewing it before you publish or rely on it.
- You are responsible for complying with AI-transparency rules when you publish AI content — including, where it constitutes a deepfake or synthetic media, labelling it as AI-generated (EU AI Act, Article 50, applicable from 2 August 2026).
- AI output may not be protectable by intellectual-property law and is not exclusive to you.
08Third-party services
The service integrates third-party providers (hosting, AI, payments, email and — optionally — social-media publishing). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their terms. Publishing to a social network is also subject to that network’s own rules.
09Plans, credits and payments Paid plans
The following applies once paid plans are activated. During the free beta, no payment is taken.
- Automations are run using credits. Plans and credit packs, their prices and validity are shown before purchase. Prices are shown including any applicable VAT/taxes for consumers.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the stated period until cancelled; the price, period and renewal date are shown before you buy.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
10Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers) Paid plans
- If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason, in respect of the unused credit balance (Directive 2011/83/EU).
- Because the service starts immediately, when you buy you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits you consume. Unused credits remain refundable within the 14-day period.
- You can exercise this right at any time during the period through the withdrawal / cancellation function in your account, or by emailing hello@tareabox.com.
- Consumers outside the EU/EEA have the statutory rights of their own country of residence.
- Plan and coupon credits are not refundable; already-consumed credits are not refundable. A refund or plan downgrade never deletes your content — it only changes what your plan allows. Money refunds are processed by Stripe back to your original payment method.
11Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals. You can delete your account at any time from Settings (this deletes your personal data — see the Privacy Policy).
12Availability and changes
The service is provided on a commercially reasonable-effort basis and may be interrupted for maintenance or due to third-party outages. We may modify or discontinue features. During the beta we may impose usage limits.
13Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties.
- Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or €100 if you have paid nothing), to the extent permitted by law.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the mandatory statutory rights of consumers (for EU consumers, the remedies under Directive (EU) 2019/770 for digital content/services — repair, price reduction or termination — cannot be excluded).
14Term and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period; we then delete or anonymise it in line with the Privacy Policy.
15Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction.
- If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
- We do not currently adhere to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body.
16Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we will post the new version with an updated effective date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them.
